Magic-Pacers NBA Game Preview
Coming off of a valiant – but losing – playoff series last season against the Chicago Bulls, the Indiana Pacers came roaring back to start the 2011-2012 season. The team is experiencing its best starting record in the previous eight years, but they still struggle against the more proficient teams in the league.
However, the Orlando Magic are a tough opponent that are 11-5 on the year so far. And recent history is clearly favoring Orlando. The Magic have defeated the Pacers in Indiana in every one of the previous three matchups between the two.
Both teams come into this meeting with a 7-3 record over their last ten games. The Pacers have a 5-0 home record right now, while the Magic are 5-3 on the road. Look for Orlando to make a surprisingly strong first quarter after their pitiful 87-56 loss to the Boston Celtics a few days ago.
